Not suitable for fundamental contraindications to enteral nutrition, e.g. B. intestinal atony, ileus, acute gastrointestinal bleeding. Not suitable for severe malassimilation.

Not suitable for congenital metabolic defects or intolerance to an ingredient contained in Fresubin® 5 kcal SHOT. In severe organ failure such as severe liver or kidney failure, Fresubin® 5 kcal SHOT should be used with caution depending on the patient's fat utilization capacity.

Not suitable for children < 3 years.
