Propolis forte capsules 30 pcs
The term propolis comes from Greek and means something like “before the city” (from pro = before and polis = city), often it is also translated as “defense of the city”. Because of its shape and appearance, propolis is also called bee glue.
Bees use the resin propolis to protect their colony and their hive from pathogens. Propolis is used by the bees to seal small openings, gaps and cracks. Various surfaces, such as the inside of the honeycomb cells for the brood, are also covered with a very thin film of propolis. Foreign bodies or rubbish in the hive that the bees cannot remove are also encapsulated with this substance.
To make propolis, the bees collect resins from trees, mainly in spring. By mixing it with wax and gland juices from the bees, a unique natural product is created. The propolis extract in the HOYER Bio-Propolis forte capsules comes from strictly controlled organic beekeepers.
