Wheat contains very little fat. The oil content of wheat germ is between 8 and 12%. The oil consists of over 60% polyunsaturated fatty acids, of which around 88% is the omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid. Wheat germ oil contains around 200 mg of vitamin E per 100 g, making it the oil with the highest total content of this vitamin.
Synthetic vitamin E production has long been possible. However, these products usually only contain certain variants and do not develop the full spectrum of effects of natural vitamin E: Natural vitamin E has a 50% higher biological effectiveness than artificial vitamin E.
Vitamin E is important for protecting our cells from oxidative stress. Oxidative stress means that in certain situations cell-damaging substances can arise in the metabolism.
Ingredients:
wheat germ oil (66%), gelatin, glycerol, water.
1 capsule contains:
278 mg wheat germ oil (0.25% vitamin E).
Recommended intake:
Take 1-2 capsules daily, unchewed, after meals.
