Aspirin contains acetylsalicylic acid, which has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects.
ASPIRIN 500 mg 100 tablets Composition:
The active substance is acetylsalicylic acid (Acidum acetylsalicylicum).
One tablet contains 500 mg of acetylsalicylic acid (Acidum acetylsalicylicum).
The other ingredients are: sodium citrate, sodium bicarbonate, anhydrous citric acid, anhydrous sodium carbonate.
Dosage:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults: 1-2 tablets at a time, repeated every 4-8 hours if necessary. The maximum dose is 8 tablets daily.
Adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 tablet at a time, up to a maximum of 3 tablets daily.
Children under 12 years of age: only as directed by a doctor.
Tablets should be taken orally, after meals, with plenty of water. Aspirin has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic
effect . Indications Indications for use of Aspirin: mild to moderate pain: headaches of various origins (e.g., migraine), toothache, muscle pain; pain and fever associated with colds and flu. Contraindications You should not use Aspirin if you: are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance - acetylsalicylic acid, other salicylates, or any of the other ingredients of Aspirin; have a bleeding diathesis; have a stomach or duodenal ulcer; have severe heart failure, severe liver failure, or severe kidney failure; have a history of bronchial asthma attacks caused by the administration of salicylates or substances with a similar effect, especially nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; are concomitantly taking methotrexate (used, among other things, in cancer) in doses of 15 mg per week or higher; are in the last trimester of pregnancy; is under 12 years of age and is currently suffering from viral infections, especially influenza A and B and chickenpox, due to the risk of Reye's syndrome - a rare but serious disease that causes damage to the liver and brain.
