  • Medicinal product in the form of granules for the preparation of suspension. Scorbolamid EXTRA Hot is recommended for people who have difficulty swallowing tablets. The drug contains a composition of four active ingredients, including salicylamide and ascorbic acid.

Composition:
Active substances in one sachet: salicylamide - 300mg, ascorbic acid - 300mg, rutoside - 50mg, zinc (as zinc gluconate) - 5mg. Excipients: mannitol SD100, mannitol M100, hydroxypropylcellulose, anhydrous citric acid, lemon flavor, sucralose, colloidal anhydrous silica.

Action:
Each sachet of Scorbolamid EXTRA Hot contains salicylamide, vitamin C, zinc and rutoside. Salicylamide is responsible for the antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Ascorbic acid, or vitamin C, affects the body's immunity, additionally supporting it in the course of bacterial and viral infections. Rutoside increases the absorption of vitamin C, at the same time extending the time of its action. In addition, it stimulates the immune system and supports the body during viral infections. Zinc has a beneficial effect on immunity.

Application:
The medicinal product Scorbolamid EXTRA Hot is indicated in the treatment of fever and other symptoms of flu or cold. Recommended as a means of strengthening the immune system and supplementing vitamin C deficiencies in states of increased demand.

Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children, at room temperature. Exercise particular caution in people with bronchial asthma, renal or hepatic failure, after peptic ulcer disease and bleeding from the digestive tract and in people with hypertension.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active or auxiliary substances contained in the drug, as well as allergies to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Do not use in case of: asthma with nasal polyps, gastric and/or duodenal ulcers, gastrointestinal inflammation, acid-base balance disorders, blood clotting disorders, genetically determined glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, kidney stones, hemochromatosis, sideroblastic anemia, excessive uric acid in the blood or oxalates in the urine, heart failure. Do not use in pregnant women, nursing mothers and children under 16 years of age. Do not use in case of simultaneous administration of methotrexate at a dose of 15 mg per week (or higher).

Side effects:
While taking the drug, the following side effects may occur: associated with taking salicylamide: facial redness, excessive sweating, rash; dizziness, headaches, drowsiness; vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps, lack of appetite, burning sensation behind the sternum, irritation of the gastric and duodenal mucosa, diarrhea, dry mouth; associated with taking zinc: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches; associated with taking ascorbic acid: decreased urine pH, which causes easier precipitation of urates, cystine, oxalates.

Dosage:
Use orally, always as directed by your doctor or as described in the leaflet. Adults, adolescents over 16 years of age: one sachet three times a day. Dissolve the contents of the sachet in warm water (maximum half a glass), stir and drink. The granules do not dissolve 100%. Take after eating a meal. It is recommended to use the lowest effective doses. If symptoms do not subside, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
