FibreControl supplies pure acacia fibers, which are obtained from the plant sap of the Senegal acacia (Acacia senegal) , known as gum arabic . These fibers, which come from certified organic cultivation, are characterized by their very high content of around 90% soluble fiber. Although they are indigestible for the human body, they serve as a source of food or energy for certain "friendly" intestinal bacteria. They are therefore referred to as prebiotics.
