Composition:
1 tablet contains active substance 324mg aspirin and auxiliary substances: anhydrous citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, povidone 25, a mixture of dimethicone and calcium silicate (70%: 30%), a mixture of sodium docusate and sodium benzoate (85%: 15%) , sodium saccharin, the aroma of lime, lemon flavor.
Action:
The active ingredient in Alka-Seltzer drug is aspirin, which belongs to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Its analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects by blocking the activity of cyclooxygenase, thus inhibiting the formation of inflammatory mediators - prostaglandin synthesis and reducing prostacyclin. The product is effective in relieving the pain of low and medium intensity and combating fever accompanying cold. Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug in patients with bleeding diathesis, a stomach ulcer or duodenal ulcer, in the case of severe renal insufficiency, liver and heart, pregnant (especially in the last trimester), if a history of seizures asthma, caused by administration of salicylates or substances with similar effect, especially non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs concomitantly with methotrexate in doses of 15mg per week or greater, in viral diseases (especially influenza and chickenpox) in children up to 12 years.
