Altażel Oceanic gel 0.01 g/g 75g, Astringent, anti-swelling, pain relief
Altagel Oceanic in the form of a gel is intended for external use on the skin. The active substance is aluminum acetate tartrate with astringent and anti-swelling properties.
Astringent, anti-swelling, pain relief, Oceanic gel, reduces swelling and pain after application to the site of injury.
Metol, which is part of the gel, has a local cooling effect.

The drug is applied topically to the skin:
in bruises;
in joint and post-traumatic swelling.
Active substance: Aluminum acetotartrate
Composition Astringent, anti-swelling, pain relief, Oceanic gel
1 g of gel contains
10 mg of aluminum acetate tartrate.
The other ingredients are: ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, levomenthol, anhydrous ethanol, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, purified water.

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The gel should be applied to clean, dry skin 3 to 4 times a day, every few hours, preferably in the form of drying compresses that provide air access to the skin.
Method of administration.
Altagel Oceanic is intended for use on the skin.
The drug should not be used under occlusive dressings or under foil that do not provide air access to the place where the gel was applied.
Wash your hands after applying the medicine, unless they are being treated.
If after 3 - 5 days there is no improvement or you feel worse, please consult your doctor.
Use of the drug in children and adolescents
Altagel Oceanic must not be used in children under 3 years of age.
Contraindications
When not to use Altagel Oceanic:
if you are allergic to aluminum acetate tartrate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
on open, extensive wounds,
on infected skin,
on diseased or damaged skin,
on large skin surfaces,
in children under 3 years of age .
