ThermaCare Pain Gel
For the treatment of pain in acute strains, sprains and bruises.

- The drug is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug for external use.

It is used in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age to treat pain
- Acute strains, sprains or bruises in the limbs as a result of sports injuries and accidents

- The following information applies unless your doctor has prescribed the medicine differently. Please follow the instructions for use, otherwise the drug will not work properly!
- Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 - 2 g of gel (approx. 3 - 6 cm strand of gel) is applied to the painful areas 2 to 4 times a day and massaged in gently. If a clear improvement has occurred, the treatment should be continued with lower daily doses.
- A daily dose of 20 g of gel should not be exceeded, regardless of the size of the area to be treated.

- There is no experience of overdosing and symptoms of poisoning with the painkiller and their consequences.

- The drug should be used until the symptoms subside.
- If the symptoms do not improve during the treatment, the doctor should be consulted.

- For application on the skin.
- Apply the gel to the painful areas and massage in gently.
- It may only be used on intact skin. Avoid contact with mucous membranes or eyes.
- The gel should not be used under tight fitting bandages.

Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders
- Common: Mild local erythema (slight reddening of the skin), dermatitis (skin inflammation) and pruritus (skin itching) have been reported in approximately 2% of patients. These symptoms resolved spontaneously upon discontinuation of treatment.

- Not known: In isolated cases, asthma attacks can be triggered in appropriately prepared patients.

When used with other medicines
- Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using other medicines, have recently taken/used other medicines, even if they are not prescription medicines.
- When used as intended, no interactions with other drugs have become known.

The pain gel must not be used
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Felbinac or certain other anti-inflammatory medicines (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including acetylsalicylic acid), or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.
pregnancy and breast feeding period
- Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using any medicine.

pregnancy
- There is insufficient experience with the use of Felbinac during pregnancy. Therefore, the gel should not be used during pregnancy.

lactation
- Until further experience is available, the drug should not be used during breast-feeding.

Particular caution in use is required
- Patients with previously damaged kidneys and patients who have responded to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or painkillers from previous use, e.g. B. with asthma attacks, skin reactions, acute runny nose or certain kidney diseases (nephrotic syndrome or interstitial nephritis) have reacted hypersensitively should not use this medicine. If you are one of these patients, always talk to your doctor before using the medicine.
- The gel should not be used in children and adolescents under the age of 14, as there are insufficient studies for this age group.

- There are no data on the effect of this medicine on the ability to drive or use machines.
