Nystaderm ® Paste, diaper rash, NYSTADERM Paste BABY fungal infection
Fungal infections of the skin are mainly caused by filamentous fungi (dermatophytes) and yeast fungi (Candida). A skin disease caused by fungi is called mycosis. Nystatin is often used as a potent active ingredient against Candida mycosis on the skin. This active ingredient is contained in the product Nystaderm ®Paste from the company Dermapharm.
Nystaderm ® Paste works actively against the yeast fungus Candida albicans, which likes to settle in warm, humid climates. Babies and small children are often affected in the diaper area. This shows up as redness and soreness. This is then referred to as diaper dermatitis, which can be effectively treated with Nystaderm ® Paste.
In addition to the active ingredient nystatin, Nystaderm ® Paste also contains zinc oxide, which supports wound healing and reduces possible inflammation - this means that the baby's tender buttocks are optimally cared for and protected.
Nystaderm® _Paste is free of fragrances or perfume oils, which benefits irritated baby skin.
With Nystaderm ® Paste, your baby's diaper area is always protected and cared for in the event of a yeast infection.
