Dosage :
  • Always take the medicine exactly as directed. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
    • Baby:
      • Oral thrush: 0.5 - 1 ml suspension 4 - 6 times daily; The maximum dose is therefore 6 ml of suspension per day.
      • Intestinal thrush: 1 - 2 ml suspension 4 times daily; The maximum dose is therefore 8 ml of suspension per day.
    • Adults and children:
      • Oral thrush: 1 ml suspension 4 - 6 times daily; The maximum dose is therefore 6 ml of suspension per day.

  • Duration of application:
    • For oral thrush, treatment should be continued for 2 - 3 days after the visible symptoms have disappeared.
    • For intestinal thrush, the usual treatment period is 2 weeks. However, the medicine should be taken for at least 2 days after the symptoms have subsided.
    • Do not take the product for longer than 28 days without medical or dental advice.
    • Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.

    • Symptoms of poisoning are hardly to be expected since the active ingredient nystatin contained in the preparation only enters the bloodstream in small quantities when taken orally. Possible consequences of an overdose include nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. If you suspect an overdose, be sure to contact a doctor!

  • If you forget to take it
    • Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.
    • Rather, you should continue treatment at the specified times and in the prescribed or specified dosage. However, the duration of treatment should, if necessary, be extended by the interruption period after consulting your doctor.

  • If you stop taking it
    • To achieve the desired therapeutic success, please adhere to the treatment duration recommended above or to the application instructions prescribed by a doctor. Treatment should not be interrupted or stopped prematurely without first consulting your doctor.

  • If you have any further questions about using the medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Way :
  • For use in the oral cavity and to be taken orally.
  • For oral thrush, the suspension is dripped into the mouth after meals. It should be moved around in the mouth for as long as possible before being swallowed. This increases the exposure time. For infants, you may want to use a cotton swab to ensure that the entire surface of the oral mucosa is wetted. It is advisable to remove the thrush deposits beforehand, e.g. B. wipe with a swab.
  • For intestinal thrush, the suspension is taken before meals.
  • The bottle containing the suspension should be shaken vigorously before use.
Side effects :
