Vitamin D-3 3000 i. E. Provides 3000 international units of vitamin D from lanolin per tablet. Vitamin D is, along with vitamin K, the only vitamin that our body can or must produce itself: it is formed through the skin under the influence of the UV rays contained in sunlight. Vitamin D itself is not an active molecule, it is first transformed in our metabolism. Our body can then activate it as needed. In the liver, for example, it is converted into a form that can be stored. In this form, it then migrates into fat and muscle tissue.
