Recommended intake of Vitamin D3 Hevert®

For prevention of a recognizable risk of vitamin D deficiency in otherwise healthy people with no absorption disorders, take ½ tablet of Vitamin D3 Hevert® daily (equivalent to 0.0125 mg or 500 IU of vitamin D). The tablets should be taken with sufficient liquid. To support the treatment of osteoporosis, 1 tablet of Vitamin D3 Hevert® daily (equivalent to 0.025 mg or 1000 IU of vitamin D). To prevent rickets, take ½ tablet of Vitamin D3 Hevert® daily (equivalent to 0.0125 mg or 500 IU of vitamin D). The dosage is to be determined by the attending physician. In general, 1 tablet of Vitamin D3 Hevert® (equivalent to 0.025 mg or 1000 IU of vitamin D) daily is recommended to prevent rickets in premature babies.
