The Polpharma 0.9% NaCl medical device is a sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution (physiological saline) intended for external use in infants, children, and adults to moisturize and cleanse sensitive areas such as the eyes and nasal mucosa, cleanse the ears, and mechanically remove foreign bodies from the eyes and wounds.
Physiological saline can also be used for inhalation in aerosol therapy. When used in this manner, the Polpharma 0.9% NaCl medical device restores moisture to the upper respiratory tract membranes affected by dryness due to climate, respiratory infections, or travel. It has beneficial effects in various clinical conditions by moisturizing the respiratory tract. 1 ml

the solution contains 9 mg of sodium chloride and water for injection.
How to use
: Moisturizing and rinsing the eyes.
Use in: - adults and children as a moisturizer after long hours of staring at a computer screen, swimming in a pool or polluted body of water, prolonged exposure to bright light, being in smoky or dusty places, or in case of dry eyes; - in infants for daily eye care; - in case of a foreign body entering the eye.
How to use: Tilt your head back and, being careful not to touch the surface of the eye with the container tip, inject the liquid. Wipe off any excess solution with sterile gauze. After applying the solution, do not apply any other products to the eye for 15 minutes. Do not drive or operate machinery immediately after applying the solution.
Moisturizing and cleansing the nose .
Use in adults and children to moisturize and cleanse the nose – for a runny nose or when staying in smoky or dusty places.
How to use: Tilt your head back and inject the solution into each nostril by gently pressing the container. Wipe off any excess solution. Do not blow your nose immediately after applying the solution.
Ear Cleansing
: Use to rinse out loosened earwax deposits and to rinse the external auditory canal.
Directions for use: Instill the solution into the external auditory canal and wipe away any excess solution. For ear infections, ear pain, or other ear-related complaints, or for individuals experiencing vertigo or a history of ear or eardrum problems, the solution should only be used after consulting a physician. Hearing aid wearers can use the medical device after removing the aid.
Wound Washing
: Use to wash wounds (e.g., after cuts, injuries, abrasions, and minor surgical procedures) to remove contamination and wound exudate, as well as to remove dressing residue after dressing changes.
Directions for use: Use the entire contents of the container, preferably 10 ml. Be careful not to touch the wound with the container tip. After washing, wipe excess solution only from the edges of the wound with sterile gauze. Apply a dressing to the prepared wound.
Aerosol inhalation
Directions for use: For aerosol inhalation, follow the instructions included with the inhalation device.
Contraindications:
There are no reports of adverse reactions after using physiological sodium chloride solution.
If you experience any allergic reactions or other adverse reactions, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
