In my Control ® Care Calming Touch Lavender we use organically certified lavender oil (Lavandula Angustifolia Extract). Lavandula Angustifolia Extract is an extract from the flowers of real lavender. As soon as the lavender flowers begin to open, the purple flowers are picked and distilled into oil.
Lavender has been valued for thousands of years for its distinctive aroma and therapeutic properties. As an essential oil, it is known for its calming and relaxing effect 1 2 3 . It not only calms the nervous system, but also irritated skin such as sunburn. 4 The essential oil is also suitable as a first aid measure after insect bites. The pain and itching are relieved when applied to the bite. The ingredients linalool and linalyl acetate contained in lavender oil have a calming, pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect and thus also accelerate the healing of the sting. 5 Due to its proven antibacterial properties 6 , lavender oil can also help with minor eczema or acne 7 . At the same time, lavender oil is very popular as a natural cosmetic due to its cell-regenerating properties. It has a preventive effect against skin aging, but also has a supporting healing effect.

Directions for use
For external use only. Can be used on intact skin and insect bites. To soothe, apply to the soles of the feet before going to bed. The pleasant scent promotes a restful sleep. Roll onto the neck, wrist and temple as needed and the soothing scent aura will unfold immediately.
