What is Equisetum arvense used for?


Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) is an herbal remedy that dates back to ancient Roman and Greek times. It was used traditionally to stop bleeding, heal ulcers and wounds, and treat tuberculosis and kidney problems.
Ilex aquifolium benefits:
Ilex aquifolium leaves are used for treating fevers that come and go, joint pain (rheumatism), swelling, water retention, and chest congestion. Ilex opaca leaves are used to empty and cleanse the bowels, stimulate the heart, and increase urine flow.
Symphytum officinale benefits:
Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) is sometimes used on the skin to treat wounds and reduce inflammation from sprains and broken bones. Comfrey roots and leaves contain allantoin, a substance that helps new skin cells grow, along with other substances that reduce inflammation and keep skin healthy.

Composition:

Acidum Silicicum Trit. D6; Alchemilla vulgaris Trit. D6; Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni Trit. D6; Calcium phosphoricum Trit. D6; Equisetum arvense (HAB 34) Trit. D6 (HAB, V2a); Ilex aquifolium (HAB 34) Trit. D6 (HAB, V2a); Symphytum officinale Trit. D6.

Consumption recommendation:

  • In acute conditions: every half an hour to a full hour, at most 12 times a day, 5 - 10 drops each
  • For chronic forms: take 5 - 10 drops 1 - 3 times a day.

Homeopathic medicines should also not be taken for long periods of time without medical advice.

Note:

Take special care with Araniforce®-T:

  • in children under 12 years of age. There is insufficient documented experience with the use of this medicinal product in children.
  • It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age.
