Arnica montana uses

Arnica is most commonly used for pain caused by osteoarthritis, sore throat, surgery, and other conditions. Arnica is also used for bleeding, bruising, swelling after surgery, and other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses. Arnica can also be unsafe when taken by mouth.

bryonia cretica uses

bryonia is used as a laxative to relieve constipation and as an emetic. Emetics are medicines that are used to cause vomiting. Bryonia is also used to treat stomach and intestinal diseases, lung diseases, arthritis, liver disease, and metabolic disorders; and to prevent infections.

colchicum autumnale uses

The plant colchicum contains the alkaloid known as colchicine. Colchicine affects the way the body responds to uric acid crystals, which reduces swelling and pain. As a drug, it is therefore used to treat gout and a certain inherited disease called familial Mediterranean fever.

Solanum dulcamara uses

Solanum dulcamara, also called “bittersweet nightshade” or “woody nightshade,” is one plant that's been widely used as a homeopathic therapy for different health conditions. Traditionally, people used nightshade to treat health conditions like arthritis, influenza, and headache.

Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium uses

This annual is fairly easy to grow from seed and does well in medium to dry soil, with full sun. Historically, it has been known to be used as a remedy for sore throats, pneumonia, colds, fevers and diarrhea. Formerly classified as Gnaphalium obtusifolium.

guaiacum uses

People take guaiac wood for muscle and joint pain (rheumatism), breathing problems, skin disorders, and syphilis. It is also used for preventing gout. Guaiac wood is used in mouthwashes to kill bacteria. In the laboratory, guaiac resin is used in tests for finding hidden blood in urine and stool.

Taraxacum officinale uses

Although most people think of dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) as a pesky weed, the plant has long been used in herbal medicine to aid in digestion and help stimulate appetite. The entire dandelion plant from root to blossom is edible with a slightly bitter, chicory-like taste.
