DAOZIN is the world's first drug used for histamine intolerance - food intolerance caused by histamine.

DAOZIN is suitable for children over 5 years, adolescents and adults suffering from food intolerance to histamine or consuming histamine-rich foods.

DAOZIN is not indicated for the treatment of food allergies involving the immune system.

What is histamine?
Histamine is a biologically active substance - a mediator belonging to the group of so-called biogenic amines. It is found naturally in many foods. Normally, our body does not absorb histamine, as it is rapidly broken down in the gut by the enzyme diamine oxidase (DAO), which is released there.

What is histamine intolerance?
Histamine intolerance is a condition in which there is a deficiency of the enzyme diamine oxidase (DAO), which breaks down histamine, or the relationship between the amount of histamine ingested through food and the body's ability to break it down is impaired. As a result, the accumulated histamine is absorbed by the body, which leads to the appearance of allergic-like symptoms. It is important to know that this is not a food allergy, but a food intolerance to a certain substance - in this case histamine. Common intolerance reactions after taking a histamine-rich diet are, for example:

· Headache, even to a migraine attack (eg so-called wine migraine)

· Rash, urticaria, itching

· Gastrointestinal complaints such as upset or diarrhea, abdominal pain, colic, gas.

· Asthma, difficulty breathing

· Nausea, palpitations, dizziness

· Runny nose or stuffy nose

Symptoms of histamine intolerance always occur with elevated levels of histamine in the body. When consuming foods rich in histamine, this substance is normally broken down in the intestine, but in the absence of DAO undigested histamine is absorbed and enters the bloodstream, causing the corresponding symptoms.

Which foods contain histamine?
Particularly high in histamine and other biogenic amines are foods that mature for a long time or are stored for a long time. In addition, a large number of foods or drugs play the role of so-called histamine liberators, releasing additional amounts of histamine in the intestine or suppressing intestinal DAO. The following foods can be mentioned as examples:

· Alcohol, especially red wine, champagne, beer

· Vinegar

· Cheese, different varieties of yellow cheese, aged hard cheeses

· Yeast-containing products, pasta

· Seafood, fish, canned or smoked / marinated fish, fish sauces and products

· Raw or raw smoked meats - various salamis, durable meat products, bacon, etc.

· Sour jelly

· Many types of vegetables - tomatoes, spinach, eggplant, avocado, nuts and more.

· Many types of fruits - strawberries, bananas, pineapple, citrus fruits, kiwi and more.

The combined use of foods high in histamine can lead to particularly severe or severe symptoms. Examples are cheese and red wine, pizza (yeast, cheese, tomatoes, salami, spinach), fish and wine and many more.

DAOZIN Action: The diamine oxidase (DAO) contained in Taozin supports the body's own identical enzyme in the breakdown of histamine imported with food. Taking Daosin capsules immediately before a meal increases the amount of DAO in the small intestine and thus increases the body's ability to break down histamine.
This improves the metabolism and increases the rate of degradation of the symptomatic and complaining histamine contained in the ingested nutrients.

How to use DAOZIN:
Take 1-2 capsules with a little liquid just before meals. The capsules should not be chewed before swallowing, but should be taken whole. If swallowing the capsule makes it difficult for you, open it and take the contents with some liquid, but without chewing it.

Taoist cannot replace a complete diet and a healthy lifestyle. Alcohol and some medications can suppress the action of diamine oxidase (DAO).

Use under medical supervision.

Keep out of reach of children.

Store in a dry and cool place.
