The deep green Aurica pumpkin seeds come from the Styrian oil pumpkin (lat. Cucurbita pepo var. styriaca). Its shell-free seeds make it a special variety among edible pumpkins. Its seeds are considered particularly valuable because they are only surrounded by a thin silvery skin. They are therefore often used to make the valuable pumpkin seed oil. Styrian pumpkin seeds are a healthy source of protein, which are characterized by their characteristic nutty taste. As an addition to muesli, baked goods or simply for snacking.
