The pump spray with hydrocortisone has an anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effect and also provides immediate, pleasant cooling. In addition, Soventol ® HydroCort 0.5% Spray scores with its special dosage form: The spray can be applied easily and without touching. A particular advantage when touch-sensitive or hard-to-reach areas of the skin are to be treated. Since the spray is neither greasy nor sticky, it is also ideal for hairy areas.

The very well researched active ingredient hydrocortisone has long been known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-itch properties. It is therefore suitable for acute inflammatory reactions such as sunburn or sun allergy. Refined: In Soventol ® HydroCort 0.5% Spray, the mild, well-tolerated active ingredient is incorporated into a fat-free, alcohol-based spray solution that is finely atomized when sprayed. In this way, the spray also provides immediate, pleasant cooling.
Conclusion: Symptoms such as itching, reddened skin, wheals, swellings and blisters are quickly relieved.
Why a spray?
The application as a spray offers important advantages: in this way, easy application is also possible on areas of the skin that are sensitive to the touch or are difficult to reach. This can be a real plus point, especially if you are sunburned or allergic to the sun.
As the solution is quickly absorbed and not greasy, Soventol ® HydroCort 0.5% Spray can also be applied to hairy areas of the skin (suitable for use on the scalp, which is often affected by seborrheic dermatitis, for example).
The alcohol-containing solution can be applied thinly and is free from fragrances.

At the start of treatment, you generally use the spray 2 to 3 times a day. When the clinical picture improves, a single application per day is usually sufficient (or one application every 2 to 3 days).
