These include: first and second degree burns and scalds, sunburn, allergic-hyperergic skin diseases (dermatoses), insect bites, abrasions and ulcers.

Contraindications:
The drug should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to arnica and other composite plants and to thuja.

Precautions for use and warnings:
Second-degree (blistering) burns larger than the palm of the hand (1% of body surface area) require medical evaluation in children
. If there is no improvement after a week, or if the symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor must be consulted.
What do you have to consider during pregnancy and breastfeeding? Like all medicines, wound and burn gel should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

Interactions with other agents:
None known.

Dosage and method of application:
Unless otherwise prescribed, immediately apply the gel to burn wounds as thick as a knife and keep moist with diluted burn essence.
For other wounds, such as abrasions, apply gel and allow to dry. Duration of use: The treatment of an acute illness should be
completed after 2 weeks. If there is no improvement within a week, see a doctor. The duration of treatment of chronic diseases requires
consultation with the doctor.

Side effects:
After using the drug, redness and itching at the site of application as well as allergic skin reactions may occur that make it necessary to discontinue the drug.
If you notice any side effects that are not listed in the leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the container and the outer packaging. Do not store/keep above 25 °C!

In the past, when inducing blisters was a common remedy for many ailments, cantharidin was commonly used for this purpose. It was also a major ingredient in so-called love potions.
