BEHREND HOMECARE ® Hemorrhoid Gel is based on hyaluronic acid, which is present in large quantities in the extracellular matrix and is therefore able to create an optimal microenvironment to support tissue repair.
The light, fresh and selected composition of the gel, based on natural ingredients, provides you with immediate relief thanks to its excellent lubricating effect.
The medical device is rich in trehalose, which supports the restoration of the optimal moisture content of the skin and the physiological elasticity of the anal mucosa.
BEHREND HOMECARE ® Hemorrhoid Gel reduces the adhesion of stool, protects against irritation and perianal congestion and provides rapid relief from discomfort.
BEHREND HOMECARE ® Hemorrhoid Gel reduces and relieves pain, itching and burning.

AREAS OF USE
It is used for anorectal diseases such as:
internal and external hemorrhoids, anal fissures, proctitis and anal itching.
BEHREND HOMECARE ® Hemorrhoid Gel is ideal as a long-term treatment for chronic symptoms and for:
• Tissue prolapse
• Constipation
• Tendency to recurrence

It is suitable for preventing anorectal complaints and it helps maintain physiological tone and elasticity.
Does not contain cortisone.

BEHREND HOMECARE ® Hemorrhoid Gel is dermatologically tested.

DOSAGE AND INSTRUCTIONS
For perianal and/or endorectal use. The affected areas should be carefully cleaned before use. BEHREND HOMECARE ® Hemorrhoid Gel is applied two to three times a day after each bowel movement. Treatment should be continued for 1 to 2 weeks until the symptoms subside.
After an application, it is advisable to wait at least 20 - 30 minutes before the next bowel movement to avoid premature elimination of the product.

HOW TO USE
Unscrew the cap of the tube, pierce the safety seal with the back of the cap and screw the endorectal cannula onto the tube.
Remove the cap of the cannula and squeeze the tube until the cannula is filled with gel.
Be sure to squeeze out a small amount of product first to lubricate the cannula and make it easier to use. Insert the cannula into the rectum.
Press the tube again until a sufficient amount of product is inserted.
Spread the product on the external area as well. After use, clean the cannula thoroughly with water, let it dry and replace the cap.
Make sure the tube is properly closed.

WARNINGS
The medical device does not require any special precautions during use, but the following recommendations apply:
• The medical device should be kept out of the reach of children.
• The recommended dose should not be exceeded.
• The preparation should not be used after the expiry date. The expiry date applies to the unopened and properly stored medical device.
• If adverse reactions occur, discontinue use of the medical device and consult a doctor to determine the appropriate therapy.
• There are no known data on interactions with medical devices that are commonly used to treat hemorrhoids or anal fissures.
• The medical device must not be used for more than 30 days in a row.
