indication
The preparation is a medicine that inhibits blood clotting.
It is used to support the treatment of acute swelling after blunt injuries (bruises / bruises) and superficial phlebitis if this cannot be treated with compression.
dosage
Always use the medicine exactly as directed. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: Apply the preparation thinly and evenly to the affected area 2-3 times a day.
Duration of treatment:

Uncommon: Allergic skin reactions
Rare: Allergic reaction such as B. reddening of the skin and itching (usually disappear after stopping the drug)
Very rare: A patient with polycythemia vera (a rare disease of the blood-forming cells in the bone marrow) developed an allergic inflammation of the blood vessels (leukocytoclastic vasculitis) after using a heparin gel, which manifested itself as a patchy, reddened skin rash with blistering.
The drug should be discontinued if allergic skin reactions occur. Please inform your doctor about this. Beyond that, no other special measures are necessary.

Contraindications

Previous experience with the use of pregnant and lactating women has not yielded any indications of harmful effects. Heparin does not cross the placenta and does not pass into breast milk.
