- When applying with the finger, about 2 mm of ointment is applied thinly to the affected area and up to about 2 cm beyond.
- Use the enclosed applicator:
- 1. To do this, screw the applicator onto the opened tube and pull off the protective cap on the applicator.
- 2. Gently press the end of the tube until the applicator fills with SOS hemorrhoid ointment and emerges from the side exit holes. If you coat the applicator with a little ointment, you increase the lubricity.
- 3. Now carefully guide the applicator to the anus and press the end of the tube again. By turning the tube, the ointment is distributed evenly. Unscrew the applicator after each use, clean it under warm, running water and let it dry completely. Then close the tube with the cap.
