Alpha Lipoic Acid Capsules

Vitamin E helps protect cells from oxidative stress. It is an essential, fat-soluble antioxidant that counteracts the oxidation of fats.

Alpha lipoic acid can regenerate the antioxidants used up in the body, such as vitamin C, vitamin E, coenzyme Q10 or glutathione. Alpha lipoic acid can perform its functions in both water-soluble and fat-soluble environments. Alpha lipoic acid is found in larger quantities in offal, for example. However, it can also be produced by the body itself.

Alpha-lipoic acid, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (capsule shell), filler: microcrystalline cellulose, D-α-tocopheryl acetate

Recommended intake:

Warnings:

Alpha-lipoic acid can increase the effect of blood sugar-lowering medications. Simultaneous treatment with alpha-lipoic acid and cisplatin (cancer drug) can lead to a loss of effectiveness of cisplatin. Since alpha-lipoic acid can bind minerals, the intake of additional mineral supplements should be delayed.

Not suitable for pregnant women, breastfeeding women, children and adolescents, or people affected by IAS.
