Piperine according to Dr. med. Michalzik
contains 10 mg of Piper nigrum extract with 95% piperine (bioperine) per capsule. Piperine is the standardized extract of Piper nigrum with at least 95% pure piperine. Normal powder from Piper nigrum (black pepper) is not comparable. In studies, piperine has significantly improved the bioavailability of vital substances such as resveratrol, turmeric and Q10.
If you are taking conventional medication, you should talk to a doctor before taking it, as piperine can also lead to improved bioavailability of medicines.
