Acard 75mg x 120 tablets, acetylsalicylic acid
The acetylsalicylic acid contained in Acard 75 mg inhibits platelet aggregation. It is a drug for prophylactic, long-term use in people suffering from diseases that can lead to blood clots and embolism.
Composition of Acard 75mg:
Active substance: acetylsalicylic acid. One tablet contains 75 mg of acetylsalicylic acid and auxiliary substances: powdered cellulose, corn starch, sodium carboxymethyl starch; shell: hypromellose, methacrylic acid copolymer type C, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), colloidal anhydrous silica, sodium bicarbonate, sodium lauryl sulfate, triethyl citrate, anti-foaming emulsion.
Action Acard 75mg:
The drug in the form of gastro-resistant tablets, thanks to the special coating, the tablet does not disintegrate in the stomach, thus reducing the irritating effect of the active substance on the gastric mucosa. Acard 75mg contains acetylsalicylic acid, a substance that inhibits platelet aggregation. The drug is used prophylactically in diseases that carry the risk of blood clots and blockages in the blood vessels.
Application:
The medicinal product Acard 75 mg indicated for use: in the prevention of a heart attack in people at high risk; in the case of a recent myocardial infarction and suspicion of a recent heart attack with unstable coronary artery disease; for the prevention of a second heart attack; after surgical or interventional procedures on the vessels (angioplasty of the coronary vessels, implantation of aorto-coronary bypass); in the case of obstructive atherosclerosis of peripheral arteries; to prevent coronary artery thrombosis in patients with multiple risk factors; in the prevention of venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in people who are immobilized for a long time.
Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against the effects of moisture and light. The possibility of using the drug in the first two trimesters of pregnancy and during lactation should be consulted with a doctor.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in the case of diagnosed haemorrhagic diathesis, diagnosed gastric and / or duodenal ulcer disease, diagnosed severe renal or hepatic failure. Do not use in the event of a seizure, the so-called aspirin-induced asthma induced by the administration of salicylates or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Do not use in the third trimester of pregnancy. Do not use in children and adolescents under 12 years of age with viral infections due to the risk of serious complications in the form of liver and brain damage (Rey's syndrome). Do not use simultaneously with methotrexate in doses of 15 mg per week or higher.
Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking the drug. If the following symptoms occur, discontinue use of the drug immediately and consult a doctor: symptoms of hypersensitivity (e.g. swelling of the face, lips, tongue, throat, causing difficulty in breathing or swallowing), bleeding (e.g. from the gastrointestinal tract) or haemorrhage. Side effects occurring: common - indigestion symptoms (heartburn, nausea, vomiting) and abdominal pain; rarely - inflammation of the stomach and intestines, gastric ulcer and / or duodenal ulcer, transient liver dysfunction; rarely or very rarely - severe bleeding (gastrointestinal haemorrhage), cerebral haemorrhage (may lead to acute or chronic anemia due to blood loss and / or iron deficiency anemia); very rarely - severe allergic reactions, including anaphylactic shock (symptoms: swelling of the face, eyelids, tongue and larynx, a significant drop in blood pressure and disturbances in heart rhythm and breathing), impaired renal function, decreased blood glucose. In addition, there were: dizziness and tinnitus (symptoms of overdose), hypersensitivity reactions (rash, hives, swelling, itching, cardiac and respiratory disorders), increased risk of bleeding, prolonged bleeding time, perioperative haemorrhage, hematomas, (epistaxis, genitourinary tract, gums).
Dosage of Acard 75mg tablets:
Use as directed by your doctor or according to the directions on the leaflet. Use orally, swallow whole, drink water. Recommended daily dose: 1 tablet, taken after a meal. Fresh infarction, suspected fresh heart attack: 4 tablets (300 mg), in order to accelerate absorption, the tablets should be chewed.
