AGARICUS BLAZEI Murrill ABM mushroom powder
The home of the Agaricus Blazei Murrill (ABM), which is also called "almond mushroom" due to its delicate taste, is in the rainforests of Brazil. The precious mushroom has always been eaten there and is even venerated as the “mushroom of God”.
For about 40 years, science has also devoted itself to researching the ABM.
This mushroom from the mushroom relatives family became known through the American mushroom researcher WA Murill, who described this mushroom in the 1940s. The ABM also got part of its name from this researcher. This mushroom was later rediscovered by Japanese coffee growers in Brazil. The first cultivation also took place in Japan, where the ABM is called "Himematsutake". From here the ABM started its triumphal march through Asia, Europe and North America. The ABM is still considered to be one of the most expensive edible mushrooms in the world.
We grow the ABM just like the Coprinus on a specially made organic straw substrate. A specialty of the cultivation is that this mushroom needs relatively warm temperatures. In order to work in a sustainable and energy-saving manner, we therefore only grow this mushroom in the summer months. In this way we meet the “nature” of the mushroom and reduce the otherwise high energy requirements of the cultivation systems.

The cultivation and processing into mushroom powder capsules takes place entirely and exclusively in our company in Limeshain, Germany. The ripe, freshly harvested mushroom is dried immediately after harvest in our special, gentle drying process, gently ground to powder with a water-cooled mill and filled into HPMC capsules. There is no intermediate storage (e.g. in a cold store). Through the immediate, fast and gentle processing, we guarantee that all important ingredients are retained and that the fungus does not lose its natural, useful properties for human nutrition. Millet may be included.
