Valerian & hops - the "dream team"
The well-tolerated combination preparation made from valerian and hops supports our sleep processes in a natural way by supporting the body's own "tired man" adenosine and the sleep hormone melatonin.
If a body cell consumes energy during the waking phase, the residue adenosine is produced. This binds to specific receptors in the brain and plays a key role in building up daily sleep pressure. During sleep, the adenosine is broken down again and the cycle starts again the next day. Thanks to a special extraction process, the special extract contained in ALLUNA ® is particularly rich in so-called "sleep lignans". These act on the same receptors in the brain as the body's own adenosine and have a calming and sleep-inducing effect.
The darker the light in the area, the more the neurotransmitter melatonin is released in the brain and the more tired the person becomes. The melatonin can dock on certain binding points in the brain and thereby causes, for example, a reduction in energy consumption or blood pressure. Components of hops have the property of binding to the melatonin receptors in the brain and thereby triggering a sleep-inducing effect.

- For the treatment of nervous-related problems falling asleep 1 film-coated tablet ½ to 1 hour before going to bed
- For the treatment of agitation, 1 film-coated tablet up to 3 times a day
The film-coated tablet should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid.
