Angal Menthol is a drug with local action in the oral cavity and pharynx.
It has an antiseptic effect and a local analgesic effect.
ANGAL MENTOL spray MENTHOL Purpose:
Angal Menthol is recommended for:
Treatment of symptoms of red, sore throat, diseases of the pharynx and oral cavity, accompanied by irritations such as inflammation of the gums, oral mucosa and canker sores;
Angal Menthol does not contain sugar, which makes it suitable for diabetics.
Do not use Angal Menthol:
If you are allergic to chlorhexidine gluconate or lidocaine hydrochloride, or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);
In children under 6 years of age.
ANGAL MENTOL spray MENTHOL Dosage:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
This medicine should not be used for a long period of time. Consult your doctor if your symptoms do not respond or worsen after 3-4 days.
The recommended dose is:
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 3 to 5 injections, 6 to 10 times a day.
Children over 6 years of age: 2 to 3 injections, 3 to 5 times a day.
Do not use this medicine in children under 6 years of age.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Very rare: allergic skin and mucosal reactions;
Exceptionally, there may be changes in taste, burning sensation on the tongue or severe allergic reactions (anaphylactic reactions);
Prolonged and continuous use can cause brown staining of the teeth, which is transient and reversible.
Angal Menthol can be used for up to 3 months after first opening.
What Angal Menthol contains
The active substances are: chlorhexidine digluconate 2 mg / ml and lidocaine hydrochloride 0.5 mg / ml.
The other ingredients are: ethanol, glycerol, anhydrous citric acid, levomenthol, cineole, saccharin sodium, purified water.
