APAP Night x 12 tablets
- The Apap Noc medicinal product contains two active substances – paracetamol and diphenhydramine hydrochloride. Paracetamol relieves pain, while diphenhydramine helps to fall asleep, while preventing night wakings associated with pain.
Apap Night Composition:
Active substances: paracetamol (Paracetamolum) and diphenhydramine hydrochloride (Diphenhydramini hydrochloridum). One tablet contains 500mg of paracetamol and 25mg of diphenhydramine hydrochloride and excipients - tablet core: pregelatinized starch, povidone, crospovidone, stearic acid, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl starch, magnesium stearate, corn starch, brilliant blue lake (E 133); coating: Opadry Blue YS-1-10524 (hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 400, brilliant blue lake (E 133), polysorbate 80, carmine (E 132)); coating: colourless coating (hypromellose, macrogol 400, macrogol 8000).
Apap Night Action:
A drug indicated for use in the treatment of various types of pain. Apap Noc contains paracetamol, which has analgesic and antipyretic effects, as well as diphenhydramine hydrochloride, which has a sedative and sleep-inducing effect. The drug is intended for use before bedtime, as it not only reduces pain, but also makes it easier to fall asleep and prevents nighttime awakenings caused by pain.
Application:
Apap Noc is a medicinal product indicated for short-term use in the treatment of pain - headache, bone and joint pain, muscle pain, toothache, menstrual pain, neuralgia, pain associated with colds and flu - pain that causes difficulty in falling asleep. The drug is intended for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect from moisture and light. Before using the drug, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Using the drug in people with liver failure, alcohol abusers and starving carries the risk of liver damage. It should be used with caution in people with kidney failure, heart rhythm disorders, hypertension, epilepsy, myasthenia gravis, hyperthyroidism, pyloric stenosis and in the elderly. Due to the increased risk of liver damage, do not drink alcohol while using the drug. The drug should be taken only before bedtime. Use in children and adolescents: the drug is contraindicated for use under 12 years of age. Use with other drugs: consult your doctor; do not use simultaneously with other drugs containing paracetamol and diphenhydramine; you should discuss with your doctor the possibility of using this medicine at the same time as anticoagulants (warfarin and other coumarin derivatives), central nervous system depressants (such as sleeping pills, sedatives and opioid painkillers), neuroleptics (used in states of excessive excitement), antidepressants (fluoxetine, paroxetine, tricyclic antidepressants), anticonvulsants (phenytoin, carbamazepine, phenobarbital) and rifampicin (an antibiotic used, among others, to treat tuberculosis); you should consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are using flucloxacillin (an antibiotic) - due to the serious risk of a disorder affecting the blood and body fluids (high anion gap metabolic acidosis). Long-term use without medical supervision may be harmful. The medicine contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) of sodium per single dose (1-2 tablets), it is considered "sodium-free". Use with food and drink: food does not reduce the absorption of the medicine. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding: consult your doctor, but this medicine should not be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Driving and operating machinery: do not drive or operate machinery while using the medicine.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the drug. Do not use in case of diseases such as: severe liver or kidney failure, viral hepatitis, glaucoma, prostatic hyperplasia, porphyria, bronchial asthma in the exacerbation phase. Do not use during treatment with MAO inhibitors and within 2 weeks of discontinuing these drugs. Do not use in children under 12 years of age. Do not use in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking the drug. Common: drowsiness, disturbance in attention, dizziness; dryness of the mucous membranes of the mouth, throat and nose; rare: hypersensitivity reactions, i.e. urticaria, erythema, rash (including generalized), swelling; disorientation, anxiety; blurred vision; tachycardia, arrhythmia; gastrointestinal disorders, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, digestive disorders; itching, sweating; urinary retention; very rare: anemia, bone marrow suppression, thrombocytopenia (decrease in the number of platelets), agranulocytosis (very significant reduction or absence of white blood cells), leukopenia (decrease in the number of leukocytes), neutropenia (decrease in the number of neutrophils). laryngeal edema, angioedema, anaphylactic shock (impaired consciousness, low urine production, hyperventilation, severe weakness), Stevens-Johnson syndrome (bullous erythema multiforme), toxic epidermal necrolysis; dizziness; bronchospasm in patients with hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; hemorrhage, acute and chronic pancreatitis; acute liver damage most often resulting from paracetamol overdose, liver failure, liver necrosis, jaundice; purpura pigmentosa; renal papillary necrosis with long-term use; nephropathies, tubulopathies (kidney damage).
Apap Night tablets dosage:
This medicine should be used exactly as your doctor has told you or as directed on the leaflet. Always use this medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Only use before going to bed. Recommended dose for adults and children over 16 years of age: take 1-2 tablets 30 minutes before going to bed. Do not take more than 2 tablets before going to bed. Recommended dose for adolescents from 12 to 15 years of age: take 1 tablet 30 minutes before going to bed. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Do not use for longer than 7 days without consulting your doctor. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 days, consult your doctor.
