The medical device ApoTears 0.2% is a sterile solution of sodium hyaluronate in the form of eye drops. The preparation moisturizes, hydrates and protects, therefore it is recommended for people who experience irritation, dryness and burning eyes.
Composition of ApoTears 0.2% eye drops:
Sodium hyaluronate 0.2%, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, sodium chloride, water.
Action of ApoTears 0.2% eye drops:
ApoTears 0.2% eye drops are a medical device for use in the event of eye discomfort caused by irritating factors. Symptoms of discomfort may include irritation, dryness, burning, and a foreign body sensation in the eye. The preparation is a sterile 0.2% sodium hyaluronate solution of high molecular weight (component obtained by biotechnology). Sodium hyaluronate has a moisturizing, hydrating and protective effect, shows mucomimetic, mucoadhesive and viscoelastic properties. Its action contributes to improving the stability of the tear film as well as restoring the perceptible comfort on the surface of the eye. The bottle containing the solution is equipped with the innovative, patented multi-dose Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser (OSD) system.
Application:
Medical device ApoTears 0.2% eye drops intended for use when symptoms such as irritation, burning, dryness, foreign body sensation in the eye are felt. These symptoms can be caused by exposure to wind, sun, smoke, salt water, dry air, air conditioning, heating, excessive lighting, and prolonged work in front of a computer. The product can also be used after ophthalmic procedures, in the case of conjunctivitis and in people who wear contact lenses frequently or for a long time.
Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against the effects of moisture and light. Formula without preservatives. If other ophthalmic preparations are used, wait at least 10-15 minutes after applying the drops with other products. Blurred vision may occur temporarily after application. Use within 120 days after opening.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation. Do not use simultaneously with preparations containing quaternary ammonium salts.
How to use ApoTears 0.2% eye drops:
For external use, apply to the eye. Use if necessary 2-3 times a day. Instill one drop into each eye. The tip of the applicator does not go to the surface of the eye and other surfaces. It can be used by people wearing soft contact lenses.
