Composition of Atrauman AG Dressing with ointment:
The hydrophobic polyamide mesh, which is the carrier material of the dressing, is covered with metallic silver and impregnated with a vaseline-free triglyceride ointment (Caprylic / Capric / Myristik / Stearic Triglyceride; Bis-diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Macrogol 2000).

It is a barrier dressing with an ointment (based on vegetable fatty acids) that prevents maceration and protects the edges of the wound. Silver provides antibacterial and bactericidal properties (fights gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, including MRSA strains). Due to its high absorbency, antibacterial effect, excellent air, water vapor and wound exudate permeability, the dressing is perfect for oozing and difficult to heal wounds.

Store the product out of reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. It does not contain active substances or paraffin. The dressing can be used in conjunction with the Vivano vacuum wound healing system.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the product.
How to use Atrauman AG ointment dressing:
Use as intended. The dressing can be cut to the correct size (it should protrude beyond the wound and be approximately the size of the secondary dressing) and applied to the wound. Then apply a sterile absorbent dressing that will absorb wound discharge. If the secretion is thick, it is recommended to incise the Atrauman Ag dressing to avoid its stagnation. The microbiological effect lasts for at least 7 days. Unless the doctor recommends otherwise, the dressing can be changed with each change of the secondary dressing.
