Composition:
The active substance of the drug - is azelastine hydrochloride. One dose (one press of the dosing pump) provides 0.14 ml of solution containing 0.14 mg of azelastine hydrochloride and the other ingredients are: disodium edetate, hypromellose, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, anhydrous citric acid, sodium chloride, purified water.

Action:
The active substance in Azelastin POS 1mg / ml - azelastine - is an antihistamine. The mechanism of its action consists in inhibiting the activity of histamine, which is produced in the body during an allergic reaction. Azelastin POS 1mg / ml is indicated for use in adults and children over six years of age in the symptomatic treatment of seasonal rhinitis.

Application:
Azelastin POS nasal spray 1 mg / ml indicated for symptomatic treatment of seasonal, allergic rhinitis. For use in adults and children above 6 years of age.

Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. The drug is not suitable for use in the treatment of influenza or cold. The bitter aftertaste in the mouth can be neutralized by drinking juice or milk. If you experience signs of fatigue or weakness after using the medicine, do not drive or use machines. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Must be used within 6 months of opening.

Contraindications:
Do not use in the case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in children under 6 years of age. It is not recommended to use during the first trimester of pregnancy (you should consult your doctor about the possibility of taking the drug later in pregnancy) and in women during breastfeeding.

Side effects:
During the use of the drug may experience side effects. Immune system disorders: very rarely - hypersensitivity reactions. Nervous system disorders: often - after application may appear unpleasant taste in the mouth (mainly due to incorrect spraying technique, namely head tilting back during application of the aerosol), which in rare cases may lead to nausea; very rarely - dizziness. Respiratory disorders: uncommon - discomfort in the nose due to inflammation of the nasal mucosa (burning, pruritus), sneezing, nosebleeds. Gastrointestinal disorders: rarely - nausea. General disorders: very rarely - tiredness (fatigue, exhaustion), dizziness or weakness (may also occur due to the patient's condition). Skin disorders: very rarely - rash, pruritus, urticaria. After observing any side effects, stop taking the medicine and contact your doctor. If you experience any side effects, stop using Azelastin POS and contact your doctor immediately. The adverse reactions listed above are usually of a temporary nature.

Dosage:
The drug should be used as directed by your doctor or as recommended on the leaflet. For nasal use. Spray one dose of the preparation into each nostril once. It is recommended to be used twice a day - in the morning and in the evening. Before the first use: prepare the aerosol for use, ie press the pump 1-2 times, until the product is sprayed. Application: blow the nose, keeping your head straight, insert the tip of the applicator into the nostril and press. Apply a light breath during application. After each use, wipe the tip of the applicator and put on the cover. One package should be used by one person. The maximum period of uninterrupted use is 6 months.
