- Biotin is included in the group of B vitamins. It fulfills various functions in the body, primarily affects the improvement of the condition of hair, nails and skin. Biotynox 5mg is indicated as a support in the treatment of biotin deficiency.
Biotynox 5mg composition:
Active substance: biotin (Biotinum). One tablet contains 5mg of biotin and auxiliary substances: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, type A crospovidone, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.
Biotynox 5mg action:
Biotynox 5mg is a vitamin preparation with biotin. As a vitamin B, biotin is important for the proper functioning of the body. In the case of deficiencies of this component you can observe such symptoms as: hair and nail growth disorders, hair loss, the occurrence of inflammation in the perineum, ears, eyes, nose and mouth. Biotin supports the process of keratin formation, participates in the process of skin cell, hair and nail differentiation. In other words, it improves their condition.
Application:
Biotynox 5mg indicated for use as a support for treatment of biotin deficiency (symptoms of deficiency: hair loss, hair and nail growth disorders, inflammation of the skin around the eyes, nose, mouth, ears and crotch) after eliminating other causes.
Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. Due to the lactose content, people with intolerance to some sugars should discuss with the doctor the use of the drug. Although the medicine contains sodium, it is considered free of sodium, the content of this ingredient does not exceed 1mmol (23mg) in one tablet.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use below 12 years of age. Application during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.
Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking the medicine. Very rare: allergic reactions, urticaria. Frequency unknown: rash, headache.
Dosage Biotynox 5mg:
Use as directed by your doctor or as described on the leaflet. Recommended daily starting dose: 5mg (with severe symptoms use 10mg for 4 weeks, and then reduce the dose to 5mg). Take before meals, washed down with water (about 200ml). Time of treatment: depending on the course of the disease, usually after about 4 weeks, the symptoms disappear, if this does not happen, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
