Bisacodyl x 30 tablets, constipation remedies

Composition:
bisacodyl, potato starch, lactose monohydrate, talc, magnesium stearate, gelatine, methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate, sodium hydroxide, triethyl citrate, polysorbate 20, talc, titanium dioxide, cochineal red, lakes, simethicone.

Response:
The active substance bisacodyl acts directly on the intestine, where it effects the plexuses mucosa. It stimulates peristalsis by reducing the absorption of water and electrolytes, making it loosens fecal masses and facilitates evacuation. The formulation also has a carminative action. The product operates at about 6-12 hours after ingestion.

Application:
Apply for constipation - habitual and chronic constipation in critically ill, habitual constipation in the elderly, constipation caused by the change of diet and constipation in the postoperative period.Indicated for use prior to diagnostic procedures and surgery to empty the bowel.

Contraindications:
Do not use in children under 4 years of age, in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation. Do not use the team acute abdomen, abdominal pain of unknown etiology and accompanying nausea and vomiting, in the case of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and gastrointestinal bleeding, and severe dehydration.

Undesirable effects:
Very rare allergic reactions and anaphylactoid reactions.

Usage:
The tablets always drink plenty of water, swallowed whole, not crushed or chewed. Children from 4 to 10 years of age: 1 tablet taken at night. Adults and children over 10 years of age: 1-2 tablets enjoyed the night. In the case of the elderly, patients with impaired liver and kidney function do not need to change the dose.
