The BlephaCura® The Eye Doctor® eye heat mask is filled with BodyBeads®, a silicone filling material that can be heated in the microwave or oven. BodyBeads® are more resistant to overheating than natural filling materials.
Microwave Heating Instructions
Remove the cover and lay the inner bag flat in a clean, microwave-safe container. The eye heat mask can also be heated with a cover.
- Power: 700 to 850 watts, max. heating time: 30 seconds
- Power: 851 to 1000 watts, max. heating time: 15 seconds
Instructions for heating in the oven
Remove the cover and place the inner bag flat in a clean oven-safe container. Heat the inner bag in a preheated oven at 150 °C (top and bottom heat) or at 140 °C (fan oven) for 7-10 minutes or in a gas stove at level 2 for 7-10 minutes. (Adjust the heating time depending on the power of your oven.)
The following applies to both types of heating:
Always check the temperature of the Blepha Cura® The Eye Doctor® eye heat mask before placing it on your eyes. To do this, hold the heated eye heat mask on the inside of your wrist. If the eye heat mask is too hot, allow it to cool for 1 to 2 minutes. Then hold the eye heat mask against the inside of your wrist again to check the temperature before putting on the eye heat mask. Sit down, place the band around your head in a way that is comfortable for you, sit back and relax for 7-10 minutes.
