frankincense supplement cut for cut into the valuable tree sap
Of around 25 known types of frankincense, only four are among the most important resin sources, including Boswellia serrata, the Indian frankincense. This special kind of frankincense is used for the production of the dry extract in boswellia-Loges® frankincense capsules.
To obtain Indian frankincense, strips are scratched into the bark between October and March, which causes a tough resinous balm to emerge. It is this precious tree resin that slowly hardens and closes the notches to protect against damaging external influences. In this way, the trees are able to protect their wounds through this natural wound healing process. Indian frankincense contains many valuable ingredients. The most important are polysaccharides (multiple sugars), essential oils and resin acids (especially boswellic acids). The latter are increasingly arousing interest in science and current research.
frankincense supplement Micellar technology: treasures brilliantly packaged
In order to fully exploit the potential of the frankincense extract, one would have to ingest very large amounts. With the special technology that is used in boswellia-Loges® incense capsules, the required amount can be absorbed very easily into the body: The Boswellia extract is in so-called micelles that are located around the molecules and thus for a better Ensure absorption into the body. The bioavailability of boswellic acids is up to 56 times higher than that of pure extracts 1

Frankincense is the natural resin of the frankincense trees (Boswellia). These grow in dry, mountainous areas around the Horn of Africa, Arabia and India. Frankincense has played an important role for thousands of years, especially in the Orient. The ancient Egyptians, for example, used it for embalming, as incense, brought it as a gift and - more pragmatically than mystically - used it as a highly effective disinfectant.
In many Eastern cultures, frankincense was just as valuable as gold and over time it developed into a much sought-after commodity. Even a trade route was named after him at the time: the Frankincense Route, which led from southern Arabia to the Mediterranean.
