CALCIRETARD gastro-resistant dragees, calcium aspartate tablets

Calciretard® contains the active ingredient aspartate. Aspartate (= chelate of the amino acid aspartic acid) has a high affinity for the intracellular space, which promotes the active transport of calcium into the cell. This property causes calcium to be permanently fixed in the cell.

Medicinally active ingredients:
175 mg calcium bis-(DL-hydrogen aspartate)
175 mg calcium bis-(L-hydrogen aspartate)
Other ingredients:
Magnesium stearate, partial glycerides, carmellose, talc, titanium dioxide, macrogol, gum arabic, sorbitol, cellacefat

Dosage calcium aspartate tablets and instructions for use
Unless otherwise prescribed, take 3 x 2 to 3 x 3 film-coated tablets daily according to the severity of the symptoms or the increased need. The enteric-coated film-coated tablets should not be sucked. They are to be taken whole with some liquid, preferably between meals.
