3M Cavilon No Sting Skin Barrier protects healthy, irritated and damaged skin from irritation and prevents maceration and irritation.

3M Cavilon No Sting Barrier is a liquid that is applied to dry, oil-free skin and dries into a breathable, transparent barrier film in about 30 seconds.

3M Cavilon No Sting Barrier contains no alcohol. Stingless solvents (esters) keep 3M Cavilon Stingless Skin Shield in a volatile, homogeneous solution. This evaporates on the skin, leaving behind a wafer-thin acrylic terpolymer barrier film that offers reliable protection against liquids and irritants for up to 72 hours. This barrier is water and soap resistant and remains intact even when in contact with stool, urine and secretions.
The concomitant use of fatty ointments, creams or lotions should be avoided as this may remove the 3M Cavilon Protective Film and reduce its effectiveness.
