CB12 sensitive mouth rinse solution, protecting teeth enamel
CB12 SENSITIVE mouth rinsing solution Protection for teeth sensitive to pain • Protects against external stimuli and reduces sensitivity to pain • Combats bad breath and ensures long-lasting breath freshness • For daily use • Protection against caries A protective shield for the teeth, protecting teeth enamel
Bad breath can affect anyone. Around 3 out of 10 people affected also suffer from pain-sensitive teeth.* Special oral care is required here that actively combats bad breath and at the same time offers daily protection for pain-sensitive teeth. The main causes of sensitive teeth are exposed tooth necks or damage to the enamel. Plaque and tartar formation due to poor oral hygiene can also be responsible for toothache. The small canals that lead to the nerves of the teeth are thereby exposed and the teeth react overly sensitively to external stimuli. If pain-sensitive teeth then come into contact with cold, heat, drafts, acidic or sweet foods, the stimuli are transmitted directly to the nerves via the exposed dentine tubules.
The mouthwash CB12 Sensitive combines the proven CB12 formula for 12 hours of pleasant breath with the effective protective function of arginine. This wraps itself around the tooth like a protective shield and has been proven to reduce sensitivity to pain. CB12 Sensitive ensures 12 hours of fresh breath and protection for pain-sensitive teeth.
Effective tooth protection, protecting teeth enamel
The arginine contained in CB12 Sensitive binds to the dentine and closes the exposed conductive canals. This prevents the transmission of pain stimuli to the nerve. Arginine thus protects the teeth from external influences and reduces sensitivity to pain.
CB12 Sensitive also contains the dual-action formula of zinc and chlorhexidine. This patented composition inhibits the formation of sulphurous gases in the oral cavity and ensures long-lasting freshness of breath for over 12 hours.
The fluoride it contains ensures that the tooth enamel is strengthened every day and thus offers additional protection against tooth decay.

APPLICATION protecting teeth enamel RECOMMENDATION:
For a pleasant breath and protection for sensitive teeth, simply rinse or gargle with 10 ml undiluted CB12 Sensitive for 30 – 60 seconds in the morning. Rinse or gargle twice a day (morning and evening) for a 24-hour effect.
TEETH SENSITIVE TO PAIN Possible causes of teeth that are sensitive to pain are damage to the tooth enamel (e.g. due to overly aggressive oral hygiene), plaque and tartar formation due to poor oral hygiene or exposed tooth necks due to receding gums (periodontal disease). The result is exposed dentine tubules on the tooth, which then increasingly transmit stimuli to the nerves. Heat, cold or drafts can cause a pulling or stabbing toothache.
PROTECT ENAMEL
In order to protect the tooth enamel, it is advisable to reduce the consumption of sweets and acidic foods and drinks. With sugary foods, tooth decay bacteria multiply in the mouth and produce acid that attacks tooth enamel. Acidic juices, wine or the additive phosphoric acid in soft drinks cause tooth enamel to soften. It therefore makes sense to wait at least half an hour before brushing your teeth after consuming such foods, so as not to brush away the softened tooth enamel immediately.
LACK OF ORAL HYGIENE
90% of bad breath originates in the mouth and is mostly due to volatile sulfur compounds. These form when bacteria break down small bits of food, cell debris or blood in the oral cavity. To combat bad breath effectively, these foul-smelling gaseous sulfur compounds must be neutralized. This includes brushing your teeth twice a day and flossing regularly. For a lasting effect on pain-sensitive teeth, a mouthwash such as CB 12 Sensitive is also recommended.
FREQUENT QUESTIONS protecting teeth enamel & ANSWERS:
How does CB12 Sensitive work?
CB12 Sensitive combines the proven CB12 formula for 12 hours of pleasant breath with the effective protective function of arginine: arginine wraps itself around the tooth like a protective shield and has been proven to reduce sensitivity to pain. Arginine binds to the dentin and closes the exposed conductive tubules. This prevents pain stimuli from being transmitted to the nerve.
Why are the teeth often sensitive to pain after bleaching?
Most bleaches contain hydrogen peroxide. During bleaching, minerals are removed from the teeth so that the protective shield of the teeth is temporarily switched off. Therefore, the teeth sometimes react sensitively to cold, warm or acidic things. It usually takes two to three days for minerals to be deposited again and for the sensitivity to pain to normalize. This can be supported by fluoridation measures.
Which oral hygiene measures make sense?
Fresh breath starts with proper dental care, which means brushing your teeth at least twice a day. A toothbrush with soft to medium-hard bristles and toothpaste containing fluoride are recommended. After each brushing or at least once a day, the spaces between the teeth should be cleaned with dental floss, a medical toothpick or an interdental brush (small brush for the spaces between the teeth). This removes food residue and plaque that cannot be reached with a normal toothbrush. As a supplement to dental care, a mouthwash, eg CB12, is recommended for long-lasting fresh breath. In addition, it makes sense to go to the dentist/dental hygienist at least once a year for a check-up and professional tooth cleaning.
