CEFABENE ointment Composition:
100 g ointment contain:
Active substance: Dulcamarae stipites tincturae (1: 5) - 10 g (Extracting agent: ethanol 30%)
Excipients: cetostearyl alcohol (type A), liquid paraffin, white petroleum jelly, purified water, ethanol 96 per 100 v / v.
What is Cefabene?
Ointment for application on the skin - in aluminum tubes of 25, 50 and 100 g.
What is Cefabene used for?
Cefabene is used for maintenance treatment of chronic eczema.
When should you not use Cefabene?
Do not use Cefabene if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of the product.
What precautions should you take when using Cefabene?
If your complaints persist or your condition worsens, talk to your doctor.
What other products affect the effect of Cefabene or can be affected?
No interactions with other drugs or foods.
What should you keep in mind if you are pregnant or breastfeeding?
During pregnancy and lactation the drug should be used only after consulting a doctor.

The product has no effect on driving and operating machines
How can you use Cefabene?
Unless otherwise prescribed, Cefabene is applied by gentle rubbing 3-5 times a day on the skin area to be treated. Usually about 1-2 g of the product (4-8 cm ointment) are sufficient for application on 25-50 cm2 skin surface.
Due to the good tolerability of the product, it can be used for a long time, until the complete disappearance of symptoms.
What should you do if you have used more Cefabene?
No cases of overdose have been reported.
What should you do if you miss a dose of Cefabene or stop treatment prematurely?
If you missed an application, continue as usual. There is no side effect when stopping treatment with Cefabene.
What side effects can Cefabene cause?
In some cases, manifestations of hypersensitivity to any of. the ingredients of the product.
In rare cases, due to the alcohol content of the product, temporary skin irritation may occur, accompanied by redness and burning, especially in cases of previously damaged skin areas (scratching effects).
If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet.
