Home test for celiac disease
Why carry out a rapid celiac disease test?
Do you suffer from stomach pain or diarrhea after eating grains, such as bread, pasta or beer? Then a grain intolerance could be the reason.
You can test yourself quickly and easily with the home test for celiac disease. You will receive a meaningful and reliable result at home. This test is comparable to laboratory results, but without the waiting time. If the result is positive, you can change your diet accordingly or, if necessary, see a doctor to discuss the result.
What are the signs of gluten intolerance?
If there is an intolerance, gastrointestinal complaints or even skin irritations occur after eating grains that contain gluten. The following signs are typical:
• Diarrhea
• Weight loss
• Bloating
• Stomach pain
• Skin rash
• Deficiency symptoms
What does the test detect?
In celiac disease, an autoimmune inflammatory bowel disease, the body reacts with an immune system reaction to the gluten protein. This is found in bread, pasta, beer, pizza, muesli and breaded meat, for example, and can leave traces in baking powder and spice mixtures. Gluten is broken down by the enzyme tissue transglutaminase (TG2) in the small intestinal mucosa of healthy people. However, people with celiac disease form antibodies of class IgA (antiTg-IGA) against the protein gliadin and tissue transglutaminase. The intestinal mucosa, on whose surface the gliadin and tissue transglutaminase are located, is wrongly recognized as harmful and attacked. The intestinal mucosa becomes inflamed due to this immune reaction.
The home test for celiac disease detects the antiTg-IGA antibodies in the blood within 10 minutes. The accuracy of the test, as proven by performance evaluation studies, is 98%. HomeTEST Celiac Disease at a glance
