Wild teasel mother tincture

Plant parts used: root

Essence of the plant:
The wild teasel has only recently been rediscovered as a medicinal plant and its healing potential has therefore only been described incompletely. In terms of her figurative expression, she is designed to resolutely reject everything that does not belong to the center. On all parts of the plant, it shows a strong connection to the center. The leaf shells, which are usually filled with rainwater and grow around the central shoot axis, form a highly effective climbing barrier against all soil animals. The central vein of the leaves is covered with numerous spines on the underside. The central, uppermost flower head is the largest among all flower heads. The dismissive gesture is linked to an expression of movement from the inside out, especially in the flower heads. Accordingly, the flowers of the egg-shaped protruding flower head first begin to bloom in the middle in the form of a ring. When they wither, the neighboring flowers sprout, so that the flowering wave migrates to the poles as a double ring. Although teasel means "thistle", it is not one of the thistle plants, but forms its own botanical class. In contrast to thistles, their spines are not so much an expression of aggressive defense against possible external attacks – the flower spines, for example, are much too soft for that – but of a decided pushing out of what is not their own. sprout the neighboring flowers, so that the flowering wave migrates to the poles as a double ring.
