Composition:
Active ingredient: pepsin (1: 4000) with an activity of not less than 1280j.FIP / g. Excipients: anhydrous citric acid, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sorbitol liquid crystallizable, sodium benzoate, sucrose, strawberry flavor, purified water.
Action:
The medicinal product Citropepsin in the form of oral liquid, which improves digestion. Pepsin is responsible for the digestion of proteins in an acidic environment which enhances the other ingredients, or citric acid.
Application:
The medicinal product Citropepsin recommended for use with: bezkwaśności as well as in case of insufficient gastric acid secretion. The drug can also be used in patients with a lack of appetite and dyspeptic symptoms.
Additional information:
The composition of the drug are sucrose and sorbitol liquid crystallizable, and it is not indicated in patients with fructose intolerance, sucrase-isomaltase or malabsorption of glucose-galactose.
Contraindications
not be used in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not apply in the case of antacids, or an excessive secretion of gastric acid. Not recommended for use in pregnant women and breast feeding.
Dosage:
Children and adults: customarily given to drink 5-10ml, or 1-2 teaspoons, for 15-20 minutes before eating a meal. Drops are administered 3 times daily. Diluted drug can be administered: in the proportion of 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of fluid and 125ml of boiled water (1/2 cup).
