Indication :
  • The preparation is a herbal medicine for flushing the urinary tract.
  • It is applied:
    • for flushing with inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract, urinary stones and kidney grit
    • for preventative treatment of urinary stones and kidney grit.
Dosage :
  • Always take the medicine exactly as directed.
  • Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
    • Children aged 12 and over and adults take 1 hard capsule 3 to 4 times daily.

 

  • Duration of application:
    • It is recommended to discuss the duration of treatment with your doctor.
    • Please also talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.

 

  • If you take more than you should:
    • There have been no reports of acute cases of poisoning in humans caused by preparations containing goldenrod herb. However, it is to be expected that the symptoms described under the “side effects” category will occur more frequently.
    • Contact a doctor if you have taken the preparation in very large quantities.

 

  • If you forget to take:
    • Do not take a double dose, but next time continue taking it as described in the dosage instructions or as prescribed.

 

  • If you stop taking:
    • If your symptoms noticeably improve, be sure to complete the treatment.
    • However, if an interruption of treatment or an early termination is necessary from a medical perspective, this can happen at any time. Undesirable consequences are not to be expected.

 

  • If you have any further questions about using this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Way :
  • Please take the hard capsules unopened and unchewed with plenty of liquid (approx. 1 glass of water) after meals.
  • Please do not take the hard capsules lying down and only with sufficient liquid.
  • Your condition requires you to ensure you drink plenty of fluids, evenly.
  • Unless heart or circulatory diseases prevent this, the daily drinking amount should be 1.5 to 2 liters.
Side effects :
  • Like all medicines, this can have side effects, although not everyone gets them.
  • The frequency information on side effects is based on the following categories:
    • Very common: more than 1 patient in 10
    • Common: 1 to 10 treated in 100
    • Uncommon: 1 to 10 people treated in 1,000
    • Rare: 1 to 10 people treated in 10,000
    • Very rare: less than 1 person treated in 10,000
    • Not known: Frequency cannot be estimated from the available data
  • Allergic reactions (skin rash, swelling and itching) occur very rarely.
  • If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects that are not specified.
Interactions :
  • When taken with other medicines:
    • Interactions are not known.
    • However, please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.
Contraindications :
  • The medicine must not be taken if you
    • are hypersensitive (allergic) to goldenrod herb or any of the other ingredients.
  • A notice:
    • No flushing therapy for water retention (edema) due to restricted heart or kidney activity.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding :
  • The widespread use of goldenrod herb as a medicine has not yet resulted in any indications of risks during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Results of experimental studies are not available. Therefore, the medicine should not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Patient information :
  • Take special care when taking:
    • if there is blood in the urine,
    • with fever,
    • if the symptoms persist for more than 5 days.
  • In these cases, a doctor should be consulted.
  • Children:
    • There are no adequately documented studies on use in children.
    • The preparation should therefore not be taken by children under 12 years of age.

 

  • Ability to drive and use machines:
    • There are no special precautions required.
