Vitamin D significantly improves the absorption of calcium, which is required for many body functions.

Dekristol ®400 IU tablets effectively prevent bone pain and deformation, even for the youngest. In children and infants, there is talk of rickets, a softening and deformation of the bones. RECOMMENDED USE
For the prevention of bone pain and deformations and for the supportive treatment of osteoporosis, Dekristol ® 400 IU tablets should be taken once or twice a day with meals, depending on the age of the patient. To make it easier to use with babies and toddlers, the tablets can simply be disintegrated in a little milk or water.
These symptoms indicate a vitamin D deficiency.
In addition to bone pain and deformity, the possible effects of a vitamin D deficiency include muscle pain. In addition, an increased susceptibility to infections is discussed.

Rickets in Infants and Children
