DICLAC gel Application:

Diklak 1% gel is a product with analgesic and anti-inflammatory action (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug).

For topical application in pain, inflammation and edema in:

• rheumatic diseases of the soft tissues (inflammation of the tendons and ligaments - tendinitis, tendovaginitis and bursitis, painful immobility of the shoulder, inflammation of the muscles and joints);
• degenerative joint diseases (arthrosis of the large and small joints) of the limbs and in the area of ​​the spine;
• sports and domestic injuries (sprains, contusions, sprains).

Do not apply Diclaque 1% gel:

• if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to diclofenac or any of the other ingredients of the product, or to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
• with open wounds, inflammation or infections of the skin or mucous membranes;
• in children and adolescents;
• during the last trimester of pregnancy (for a long time and on large areas of skin).
Take special care with Diklak 1% gel
• if you suffer from asthma, hay fever, nasal polyps (swelling of the nasal mucosa), chronic lung disease or chronic respiratory infections (symptoms similar to hay fever);
• if you are hypersensitive to anti-inflammatory products from all groups, there is a higher risk of developing asthma attacks (so-called analgesic intolerance / analgesic asthma), local swelling of the skin and mucous membranes (so-called Quincke's edema), or urticaria with Diklak 1% gel than in other patients.

In these patients, Diclaque 1% gel should only be used under certain precautions and under direct medical supervision. The same applies to patients who develop allergic reactions to other substances that present with skin reactions, itching or urticaria.

DICLAC gel Composition:

The active substance is diclofenac sodium.

The other ingredients are: ammonia, carbomer (980), decyloleate, edetate sodium (Ph.Eur.), Octyldodecanol (Ph.Eur.), 3-sn-phosphatidylcholine, propan-2-ol, RRR-alpha-tocopherol, aromatic substances , Purified water.

Dosage:

Diklak 1% gel is applied 3 times a day. Squeeze about 11 cm of the gel corresponding to 3 g of gel (30 mg diclofenac sodium) and apply to the painful area. The maximum total daily dose is 9 g of gel, corresponding to 90 mg of diclofenac sodium.

Diklak 1% gel is for external use only. Do not take orally!

Diklak 1% gel is applied in a thin layer to the affected part of the body and rubbed lightly. Diklak 1% should be allowed to soak for a few minutes before putting on the clothes. The use of an occlusive dressing is not recommended.

Diclaque 1% can be used as adjunctive therapy with other diclofenac-containing formulations.

The duration of administration is determined by your doctor.

Possible side effects:

Like all medicines, Diklak 1% gel can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Rarely, local skin reactions such as redness, itching, burning of the skin, skin rash, incl. with blistering and urticaria. Diklak 1% gel can in rare cases cause hypersensitivity reactions or the so-called. local allergic reactions (contact dermatitis).

If Diklak 1% gel is applied to large areas of skin for a longer period of time, the occurrence of systemic side effects affecting certain organs and systems or even the whole body, as may occur with systemic use, cannot be ruled out. of diclofenac-containing medicinal products.

In some cases, gastrointestinal disorders, generalized skin rash, hypersensitivity reactions in the form of angioedema and dyspnoea, as well as photosensitivity have been reported with topical administration of diclofenac-containing products.
