Medicine for adults. The medicinal product Luminastil 50mg contains diphenhydramine hydrochloride. It is a substance belonging to the group of antihistamines. Diphenhydramine has a sleep-inducing and sedative effect. It shortens the time it takes to fall asleep and increases the depth and quality of sleep. The drug is indicated for short-term use in sporadic insomnia in adults. Typically, sporadic insomnia occurs when you have difficulty falling asleep, wake up frequently at night, wake up early in the morning due to stress or change of time zones. Sleep disorders may have a negative impact on physiological processes and also lead to a decline in psychophysical fitness. Insomnia is said to occur when the length of time it takes to fall asleep exceeds 30 minutes, waking up during the night lasts longer than half an hour in total (such disruptions occur at least three nights a week), and the quality of sleep is poor, resulting in fatigue or reduced psychophysical performance during the day. Temporary sleep disorders may result from factors such as stress, illnesses, anxiety, personal or work problems, and time zone fatigue. Please remember that taking medications is not the primary method of treating sleep disorders and should be limited to short-term use only. The medicine should not be used to treat chronic sleep disorders.
