For our high-quality Cystus organic tea we only use Greek plants that were traditionally drunk as house tea. The freshly harvested herb from certified organic wild collection is gently dried in the shade by sea breezes, then cut and is then sold as loose tea herb.
Our Cystus organic tea herb is characterized by special polyphenols, the variety and quantity of which by far exceed the content in red wine, onions and blueberries.
Preparation:
Enjoyable tea: Pour 2-3 tablespoons of Cystus organic tea with 1 liter of boiling water and - depending on your taste - let it steep for 2 to 5 minutes.
Our tip:
refine it with lemon and honey
Cold mixed with fruit juices or prepared as an iced tea, Cystus organic tea is an ideal soft drink.
Variation: For a particularly intense, tart, aromatic taste, put the tea herb with cold water in a saucepan, bring the tea to the boil and let it simmer for about 5 minutes with the lid on.
Warning:
Cystus can leave brown stains on clothing, wood and untreated stone!
